Class 1 HGV Night Driver – Barnsley  – Ongoing Work

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Class 1 Night HGV Driver to join our client based in Barnsley. This is a great opportunity for a professional driver seeking ongoing weekday work with a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class 1 vehicle, Trunking between 2 sites
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle checks in line with company policies
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and complete jobs as instructed
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members throughout the shift
• Ensure a high standard of customer service and professional conduct at all times
• Comply with all health & safety procedures and legal driving requirements

✅ Candidate Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV licence
• Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience (essential)
• Clean driving licence preferred
• Good communication skills and attention to detail

 Pay & Hours:

• £15.00 per hour
• Minimum 8 hours pay per shift
• Monday to Friday work schedule
• 16:00 - 12:00
• Ongoing assignments available
