🚛 HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Drivers - Immediate Starts

We are currently recruiting Class 2 (LGV C) Driver paying £20 per hour, with no weekend work. This is for an urgent requirement with a long-standing client of ours, across multiple Somerset depots.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for immediate starts, with the potential for temp-to-perm positions.

💷 Pay Rates

• £20.00 per hour
• Paid for all hours worked

🕒 Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• 06:15 start time
• No Weekends
• 14:45 planned finish (may vary due to traffic/operational delays)

📍 Locations & Vacancies

• Bridgwater - Drivers
• Evercreech - Drivers
• Lufton (Yeovil) - Drivers
• Williton - Drivers

♻️ Role Duties

• Residential waste and recycling collections
• Working as part of a crew (Driver + Loaders)
• Safe and efficient vehicle operation
• Providing a reliable and professional service

📅 Start Dates

• Inductions NOW! Limited spaces available.
• First day includes:
  • Classroom-based induction
  • Driving assessment (must be passed)

📆 Assignment Length

• Minimum Ongoing
• Opportunity for 12 weeks or temp-to-perm

🎯 Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (LGV C) licence
• Minimum 12 months experience
• CPC qualification card
• Digital Tachograph (Digi Card)
• Happy to do some manual handling
• Reliable and team-focused attitude
