HGV Class 2 Day Driver - Darlington

The Best Connection are recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Day Drivers for our client in Darlington, a leading kitchen production and distribution company. This role offers flexible, ad-hoc day shifts, ideal for drivers wanting to fit work around their schedule. You must be able to attend induction on 26/03.

Job Responsibilities:

• Day driving work as an HGV Class 2 Driver
• Safe and timely deliveries to customers and sites
• Loading/unloading where required
• Accurate completion of paperwork
• Represent both the client and The Best Connection to a high standard

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence, CPC and Digi card
• 2 years experience as a Class 2 HGV Driver
• Physically able to lift items up to 25kg
• Professional attitude and smart appearance
• Must be able to attend induction on 26/03

Hours:

• Start times from 04:00 AM
• Ad-hoc day shifts when required

Pay Rates:

• £14.09 per hour - Monday to Friday
• £19.50 per hour - Saturday
• £26.00 per hour - Sunday and Bank Holiday
