HGV Class 2 Tramping Driver

The Best Connection Group are seeking experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join our well-established client based in Sherburn in Elmet (LS25).

What We Offer:

· Earn up to £1,300 per week, including nights out

· Permanent salary up to £67,000 per year

· Thursday to Sunday working pattern, giving you Monday to Wednesday off

· Enhanced weekend pay: £18/hour Thursday & Friday, £20/hour Saturday, £22/hour Sunday

· £23.94 per hour after 40 hours worked

· Night out allowance: £25 for your first night, then £50 per night for nights 2 to 4

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable Class 2 driver who enjoys life on the road and wants to earn excellent money while working just four days per week.

Responsibilities

· Driving Class 2 (Category C) vehicles throughout the UK

· Delivering fully assembled products to customers' homes with a driver's mate

· Safely unloading products and providing excellent customer service

· Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects or issues

· Using handheld scanners and completing delivery paperwork accurately

· Staying away overnight Thursday to Saturday as required

Accommodation Options

· Sleep in the cab with your driver's mate, or

· Stay in a pre-paid hotel room

· £25 night out allowance paid when using the hotel option

Requirements

· Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence

· Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

· No more than 6 penalty points

· Happy with manual handling and heavy lifting as part of a two-person crew

· Reliable, professional and customer-focused approach

· Flexibility to work weekends and stay away overnight

Preferred

· At least 6 months' Class 2 driving experience

· Home delivery, furniture delivery or multi-drop experience beneficial, but not essential
