The Best Connection are recruiting Class 2 Drivers for our well‑established client in Knowsley. This role involves delivering glass and UPVC products. A fantastic opportunity to secure a temp-to-perm position with a reputable business.
Key Responsibilities
- Kerbside, residential, and construction site deliveries
- Handling and moving glass and UPVC products
- Ensuring loads are safely secured before transit
- Manual loading/unloading (physically demanding)
- Providing excellent customer service on delivery sites
- Complying with drivers' hours and tacho regulations
- Completing up to 3 nights out per week
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience preferred but not essential
- General understanding of tacho rules & working time regulations
- Availability for 05:00-06:00 starts
- Willingness to complete up to 3 nights out per week
- Up‑to‑date CV required
- Interview required before assignment
Pay & Benefits
- £14.01 per hour (PAYE)
- Guaranteed 48 hours per week
- Time and a half after 48 hours
- £50 per night out allowance
