***HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER WANTED***

Here at The Best Connection we are looking for an experienced Class 2 driver to join our client based in Southampton. This role is a temp to perm with the potential to get a full time contract. Monday to Friday annual salary with an average of 3 hours overtime ( likely to be closer to 5-6 per week ) is £35,000. No heavy multi drop, start ASAP.

Salary - £15.05 / £22.57 per hour

Location - Southampton

Start Time - Between 05:00am/06:00am

Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

- Driving class 2 flatbed delivering to residential and commercial customers. Some distance driving involved.

- Starting between 05:00am/06:00am finishing after 14:00pm/15:00pm

- Overtime after 8 hours at £22.57 per hour.

- Vehicle checks before and after each shift

- Delivering around the south coast area

- Following a successful completion of a 16 week trial period you will be given a full time permanent position.

WHAT IS REQUIRED/BENEFITS:

- Full UK C licence

- Valid CPC & Digi Card

- Must have class 2 experience including use of straps to secure loads.

- Great communication as this is a customer facing role

- Good numeracy & literacy skills

- Regular weekly overtime opportunities.

- NO weekends involved
