The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy and well-established client based in Caldicot. This is a great opportunity for a reliable driver looking for consistent work within a general haulage environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for completing deliveries, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing multi-drop deliveries within a general haulage operation
• Loading and unloading the vehicle where required
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed in a timely manner
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Following all health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Previous driving experience preferred
• Reliable with good timekeeping
• Good communication and customer service skills

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Start times may vary

Pay Rate

• £14.00 per hour
