🚛 HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Day Driver - Tyre Collection & Recycling

💷 Pay: £14.00 per hour
🕒 Guaranteed: Minimum 50 hours paid per week (for full week worked)
📅 Type: Ongoing work - strong potential to become permanent

About the Role

The Best Connection are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client - a leading name in automotive recycling and sustainability.

We're looking for a hard-working and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team, collecting used car and van tyres from customer sites and returning them to the depot for recycling.

What You'll Be Doing

• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle across local and regional routes

• Collecting and manually loading waste tyres (all by hand)

• Ensuring tyres are safely stacked and secured for transport

• Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner

• Completing all required paperwork and vehicle checks

What We're Looking For

• Full HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Over 25 years old (for insurance purposes)

• Minimum 3 months' Class 2 experience

• Physically fit and happy to work outdoors in all weathers

• A great attitude and strong work ethic
