HGV Class 1 Drivers - West Auckland (Bishop Auckland)

The Best Connection are excited to be recruiting motivated HGV Class 1 Drivers for our well-established client based in West Auckland (Bishop Auckland). This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy UK-wide haulage operation specialising in efficient palletised-load distribution across the North East. If you enjoy variety, independence, and being part of a professional logistics team, this HGV Class 1 Driver role could be the perfect fit for you.

The Role:

• Ad-hoc multi-drop deliveries across the North East region
• Palletised-load distribution with very little handballing
• Working as part of a wider UK-wide road haulage operation

The Candidate:

We are looking for a reliable and qualified HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Driver who meets the following criteria:

• Minimum 1 year of commercial HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
• Valid Cat C+E licence
• CPC qualification
• Digital tachograph card

Pay Rates:

• £15.25 per hour - standard rate
• £16.25 per hour - night rate (between 18:00 and 06:00)
• £17.25 per hour - Saturday
• £18.25 per hour - Sunday

Important:

Induction must be completed prior to any shifts starting
