The Best Connection Chesterfield are currently recruiting for a number of Class 1 HGV Drivers for one of our clients based in the Worksop area.

As Class 1 HGV Driver you will be working over 5 out of 6 days, Sunday to Friday. You will be trunking from Depot to Depot over 8/9 hour days. Minimal handball involved, if any.

Available shifts:

• Days - £18.04 - 18.38
• Nights - £21.58

Key responsibilities:

• Delivering Depot to Depot.
• Following daily delivery schedules.
• Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure road-worthiness.
• Ensure safe and compliant driving in accordance with UK road laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding any issues or delays.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
• Up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card.
• Excellent time keeping and communication skills.
• Must have held licence and had at least 2 years Class 1 driving experience.
• Start times are from 4am onwards.
