Class 1 HGV Driver - Afters

Location: Sheffield (S9)

Pay Rate: £17.06 per hour, Time and a half for overtime

Monday to Friday - Afters

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers on behalf of our well-established client based in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, full-time work with a leading logistics provider.

The Role:

• Delivering steel products to customers and end-user sites
• Working Monday to Friday on afters shifts, shifts usually around 6 to 7 hours with a start time around 2pm
• Safe loading, securing, and transporting of goods
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and in line with company procedures

Pay & Benefits:

• £17.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday

Requirements:

• Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 2 years' experience preferred
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 6 points on licence
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements
• Previous experience with steel is advantageous
• Must know how to use straps to secure loads
