HGV Class 1 Day Driver - Shildon

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Day Driver on behalf of a well-established flooring company based in Shildon.

The Role

• Trunk runs in a class 1 vehicle delivering flooring products to customers and distribution centres.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image while representing both the client and The Best Connection.
• Complying with all driving regulations and company procedures.

The Candidate

• A minimum of 6 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• A valid Category C+E licence.
• A current CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• A professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
• Good communication skills and a smart appearance.

Hours of Work

• Day shifts.
• Start times from 06:00.

Pay Rate

• £15.25 per hour.
