🚛 HGV Class 1 Drivers - Temp to Perm

💰 £17.66 per hour | £24.69 OT after 12 hours and shifts worked outside of your rota

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers with our global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.

🔧 About the Role

HGV Class 1 Drivers - Main duties and requirements are:

• UK based Depot to depot drops
• Pre loaded vehicles No handballing
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure
• Completion of delivery paperwork
• New Pass HGV drivers accepted
• Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR offences)
• Vehicle checks

⏰ Working Hours

• 4 on 4 off rota or 5 out of 7
• Minimum 8-hour shifts
• Days and nights available
• Flexiblility essesntial weekdays and weekends

💰 Pay

• £17.66 per hour
• £26.49 per hour overtime (after 12 hours and any shifts worked outside of your rota)

👷 What We're Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
• Commitment to shifts/rotas
• Ability to work safely alone
• Time management and punctuality
• A good understanding of UK drivers' hours
