The Best Connection are recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers for our client in Darlington, a leading kitchen production and distribution company. This HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver role offers the flexibility of ad-hoc tramping shifts, ideal for any HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver wanting to fit work around their schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

• Tramping work with nights out as an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver
• Safe and timely deliveries
• Accurate completion of paperwork
• Represent both the client and The Best Connection to a high standard

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC and Digi card for an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver
• Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver preferred (less experience considered)
• Good understanding of drivers' hours regulations
• Professional attitude and smart appearance
• Induction required before starting

Hours:

• Start times from 04:00 AM
• Ad-hoc tramping shifts when required

Pay Rates :

• £15.14 per hour - Monday to Friday
• £21.00 per hour - Saturday
• £28.00 per hour - Sunday & Bank Holidays
• Night out allowance: £26.20 per night
