Our client based in Nursling is currently looking for experienced Cat C+E drivers to do Trunking work for the general Haulage Industry or Container work coming from Southampton Docks. There is a 10 hour minimum shift Monday to Friday with opportunities of additional Hours when required. Average start times are between 5am and 8am.

£17.00 per hour PAYE . Average weekly salary of £950

What will you be doing:

• You will be asked to drive any of the following ;
• class 1 curtainsiders
• Class 1 Double Deckers
• Class 1 Container carriers
• Class 1 Boxed vehicles
• The work will involve delivering , collecting or swapping trailers for customers
• Drivers Will need to have experience of working on the docks or in General Haulage
• Due to the nature of the work, drivers need to have a high level of confidence in manoeuvring vehicles on and off loading bays and reversing between vehicles in congested sites.

The work is on going and could lead to more permanent work dependent on the drivers abilities and volume of work available.
