Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Coventry
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in grounds maintenance

• Valid PA1 and PA6 qualifications

• Full UK driving licence

• Experience using grounds maintenance equipment

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our client's team based in Coventry, covering sites across Warwickshire and the surrounding areas.

The role involves maintaining high standards across residential estates and commercial business parks, completing a variety of grounds maintenance duties including grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, landscaping and general site upkeep. You will be required to safely operate machinery and equipment, support the wider team, and ensure all work is completed to a high standard while following health and safety procedures.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within grounds maintenance and be confident working outdoors in all weather conditions. You will need to be reliable, organised, able to work independently as well as part of a team, and have good communication skills when working across client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general grounds maintenance and landscaping duties

• Operate machinery including mowers, trailers and powered equipment

• Maintain residential and commercial outdoor areas to a high standard

• Follow safe working practices and health and safety guidelines

• Support and work alongside other members of the grounds maintenance team

• Travel between different sites across Coventry and Warwickshire

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00
Occasional flexibility may be required, including evenings, weekends, nights and bank holidays depending on business requirements.
