Grounds Maintenance Operative Required - Wolverhampton

We are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to work via The Best Connection for our client based in Wolverhampton.

Job Details:

• Location: Wolverhampton
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 - 14:30
• Pay Rate: £13.05 per hour
• Duration: Ongoing work until October
• Start Date: Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities:

• Mowing and trimming lawns using hand or power mowers
• Applying fertilisers, herbicides, and insecticides using manual or automatic sprayers
• Watering lawns, trees, and plants using sprinkler systems or irrigation controls
• Maintaining and repairing tools, equipment, and site structures (fences, gates, benches)
• Planting and seeding lawns, flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Pruning and trimming vegetation to maintain appearance and safety
• Preparing, setting up, and clearing sites for events and functions
• General grounds upkeep including raking leaves, litter picking, composting, and aerating

Requirements:

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance is essential
• Full UK driving licence (role involves driving a company van)
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable and hardworking with good attention to detail
