The Best Connection are proud to be recruiting multiple Grounds Maintenance Operatives for our well-established client, who provide landscape maintenance and soft landscaping services to local authorities across Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, and Kent, serving commercial, public, and private sectors.

Location: Horsham

Industry: Agriculture

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

Pay:

• £12.71 per hour (no experience required)
• Up to £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out grass cutting using strimmers, pedestrian mowers, and ride-on mowers with trailers (full training provided)
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of all sites
• Operate, maintain, and care for vehicles and equipment
• Perform hedge cutting, shrub and border maintenance, pruning, and leaf clearance
• Undertake landscaping and environmental improvement works, including turfing, seeding, and planting
• Work safely at all times, following health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

• No experience required - just a positive, can-do attitude
• Happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Full UK driving licence to get to site
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Comfortable with manual, physical work
