We are currently on the lookout for a Temporary Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our clients team in Brighton, Falmer. You will be required to undertake general grounds maintenance duties - ensuring a very high standard of work is always maintained.

Maintenance duties are to include both mechanical and manual operations and will cover the broad spectrum of grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Grounds Supervisor and as directed in undertaking work tasks
• Amenity lawn maintenance and cultivation
• Soil cultivation, digging, mulching, watering, raking, weeding, edging, pruning, bed preparation and planting
• Undertake weed and moss control around the campus as required and directed
• Empty litter bins on the campus in accordance with appropriate schedule

Requirements:

• Practical experience of working in a ground's maintenance role in a large estate
• Good working knowledge of grounds maintenance operations
• Experience of Tractor driving
• Experience using hand powered and powered equipment and Ride on equipment
