The Best Connection are proud to be recruiting for Goods In Operatives and Cleaners for our well-established client in the Pharmaceutical Industry based in Chessington.

Location: Chessington

Industry: Pharmaceutical

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

Pay:

• Monday to Friday - £13.71 per hour
• Overtime after 40 hours - £17.14 per hour
• Saturday - £18.23 per hour
• Sunday and bank hol - £20.57 per hour

Role: Goods In

Key Responsibilities of Goods in Operatives:

• Load and unload vans and lorries safely and efficiently.
• Picking and packing the products.
• Receive deliveries, checking items against delivery notes and reporting any discrepancies.
• Move and store goods in the correct warehouse locations.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free working environment.
• Follow all health & safety procedures, including correct use of PPE.

Requirements of the Goods in Operative:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling deliveries.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is desirable.
• Must have experience using a scanner.

Role: Warehouse Cleaner

Key Responsibilities of Warehouse Cleaner:

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse, including floors, workstations, and communal areas.
• Sweep, mop, and disinfect surfaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Dispose of waste correctly and ensure bins are emptied regularly.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks within set time frames.
• Adhere to all health & safety guidelines, including the safe use of cleaning equipment and PPE.

Requirements of Warehouse Cleaner:

• Good attention to detail to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking with a positive attitude.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting manual tasks.
• Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential).
