The Best Connection Newcastle are looking to recruit an experienced Glass Cutter/Production Operative (Nights) to work for our client in Pelaw, Gateshead. The role is for a glass production company.
The role:
- Cutting different types of glass including patterned/textured glass and laminated glass
- Working night shift in a busy warehouse
- Follow health and safety procedures
- General housekeeping
The candidate:
- Must have experience of hand cutting of all types of flat glass (including patterned/textured glass and laminated glass) in a busy production environment for a minimum of 2 years
- Technical understanding and operative experience in the use of automatic cutting tables
Hours + Pay:
- 20:30pm - 7am
- Monday to Friday
- £13.88 per hour
- Shift allowance available
