The Best Connection Group – Manchester is currently recruiting a Glass Cutter for our client, a market leader in their industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected company on a temporary to permanent basis.

Position Details:

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday (no weekend work)
• 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM (Job and finish, so you could finish earlier depending on workload)

Salary:

• First 3 months (probation period): £12.22 per hour (£24,225 per year)
• After successful probation completion: £12.86 per hour (£25,500 per year)

Role Responsibilities:

• Operate a Bottero automatic cutting table
• Manual handling of materials
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Accurately cut glass to specifications
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating a Bottero cutting table
• Comfortable with heavy lifting
• Experience in a glass production environment
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols
