General Operative Role

We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company. This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, offering clear progression and competitive pay rates.

Role Responsibilities

• Inspect finished garments to identify faults or imperfections
• Carry out repairs to ensure products meet quality standards
• Prepare and process materials to specification
• Maintain high levels of attention to detail
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets

This role would suit someone with a good eye for detail, patience, and a strong work ethic. Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.

Initial Training Period (First 6 Weeks)

Shift Pattern (Days):

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 6:00am - 3:00pm
• Wednesday: 6:00am - 11:00am

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Post-Training Shift Pattern

6:00am - 6:00pm

3 days off / 3 days on rotation

Pay Rate: £13.07 per hour

Progression & Pay Increases

We offer structured skill development with increased pay as you progress:

• £14.22 per hour - Next skill rate
• £14.70 per hour - Final skill rate

Wage rise due in April
