Our client, one of the Midlands’ most reputable renewable energy installers based in Kingsbury Link Tamworth, requires Domestic Gas Engineers. Immediate starts. Duties include working predominately Monday - Friday, being provided with a salaried income, Plus O.T and call out payments, 28 days holiday (Inc Bank Hols) a company vehicle and work placed pension. The work will involve carrying out annual gas servicing/CP 12 safety inspections and repairs on a variety of domestic and commercial boilers including, Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Baxi and Glow Worm.
Repair diagnostic skills are an essential feature of this role. Oil and or Commercial qualifications would be advantageous and will be reflected in remuneration. The successful candidate will be required to participate in an out of hours call out. Overtime is available to all staff members.
Responsibilities you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking annual gas serving and safety checks
- Responding to boiler break-downs and identify faults
- Communicating information with our customer services team using our bespoke PDA and property software
- Ensuring high levels of customer services
- Ensuring all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work
Qualifications required:
- Gas Safe or OFTEC registered
- A minimum of 2 year’s experience (however improvers welcomed)
- A full, largely clean, drivers’ licence
- Have at least two recent good references, one from a recent employer
