Forklift Counterbalance Driver - Medway City Estate, Rochester

£13 per hour | Monday to Friday | 8am - 6pm | 50 hours per week

£16.19 per hour signing up to an umbrella payroll

Our client based in Medway City Estate, Rochester, is currently looking for an experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join their busy goods-in/goods-out department.

Key Details:

• Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm (50 hours/week)
• 1-hour unpaid break per day
• Immediate start available
• Ongoing work with potential for permanent employment following a successful trial period

Main Duties:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (must hold a valid and accredited licence)
• Handling palletised goods - loading and unloading trailers and vehicles
• Racking and general warehouse organisation
• Manual handling - including heavy lifting
• Order picking and loading

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience operating a Counterbalance FLT
• A valid, accredited Counterbalance licence (RTITB/ITSSAR or equivalent)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Good level of physical fitness due to manual handling
