The Best Connection are currently looking for Trimming Line Operatives to join our well established client in Burntwood.

You will be joining a family run meat wholesaler who have been supplying traditional English butchers with wholesale meat since 1937. They are also accredited by Red Tractor and are RSPCA assured.

The role involves working on the trimming line. This means trimming animal carcasses with industrial knifes to remove unnecessary product, attaching relevant labels to the carcasses and cleaning out any waste barrels. Health And Safety training will provided for this

You will be required to work with beef, pork and lamb.

Some may find this initially to be a difficult environment to work in. Therefore, you will be required to attend a walk around prior to starting. You will be provided the relevant PPE and this could be a messy environment. You will need required to work around animal carcasses which means animal remains and blood will be visible.
