The Best Conection are currently seeking an experienced and reliable 16-tonne Forklift Driver to join one of our prestigious clients located near Flixborough. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse/production facility. You will be responsible for operating our 16-tonne forklift to move materials, load/unload goods, and maintain a safe, efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a 16-tonne forklift in a safe and efficient manner
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and storage
• Transport materials around the facility as required
• Ensure all safety procedures and regulations are followed at all times
• Inspect and maintain the forklift regularly to ensure it is in good working condition
• Assist with inventory management and stock control
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain smooth operations
• Report any hazards or maintenance issues to supervisors

Requirements:

• Valid forklift license for 16-tonne vehicles (required)
• Previous experience driving a 16-tonne forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting (preferred)
• Excellent understanding of safety procedures and forklift operation
• Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
• Good physical fitness and the ability to handle manual lifting
• A proactive attitude with strong attention to detail
