• B1 Forklift Driver (Up to 5T) – Timber Yard
• Location: Rochester/Strood
• Pay: £13.00 per hour
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:30
• Type: Full-time, Permanent Role

We are currently seeking an experienced B1 Forklift Driver to join our busy and fast-paced Timber Yard in Rochester/Strood. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous yard experience looking for a stable, full-time role with room to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe and efficient operation of forklifts (up to 5T)
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Loading vehicles with both palletised and loose timber products
• Manoeuvring large and heavy goods in a tight and busy yard
• Working in dusty conditions, both indoors and outdoors
• Supporting manual handling and general yard duties as needed
• Opportunity to train on and operate timber treatment machines and other equipment

Requirements:

• Valid B1 Forklift Licence
• Proven experience operating forklifts in tight spaces and busy environments
• Experience working with heavy, awkward, or loose goods (ideally in a timber or builders’ yard)
• Good level of physical fitness and willingness to support with manual labour
• Reliable and safety-conscious attitude
