Production Operative - New Mills (Temp to Perm Opportunity)

We are currently recruiting for a production operative to join an established manufacturing business based in New Mills. This is a hand-on role where you'll be involved in the manufacturing process, operating machinery, handling materials and ensuring products are produced safety and to the required quality standards

What's in it for you

· £14.00 per hour which rises to £14.75 per hour following a successful probation period

· Weekly rotating shifts week 1: 6am-2.30pm week 2: 9.30am-5pm (Mon to Fri)

· No weekends

· Temp to Perm

Your role

· Operating a range of manufacturing machinery and processes

· Working with equipment including mixers, blenders and extruders

· Carrying out manual handling and lifting duties

· Cleaning and maintaining machinery and work areas

· Moving and storing finished products and raw materials

· Supporting general warehouse duties

· Working to strict health and safety procedures

What they are looking for

· Has previous manufacturing/production experience

· Strong attention to detail

· Is comfortable with a hands-on, physically demanding role

· Can work at a good pace and manage high volume of work

· Has basic numeracy and literacy skills

· Having your own transport is essential unless you live locally
