FLT Driver / Yard Operative

Builders Merchants - Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver / Yard Operative to join a busy and well-established builders merchants. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for work within a fast-paced trade environment.

The Role:

Working as part of the yard team, your duties will include:

• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
• Operating Counterbalance FLT in a busy yard environment
• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Serving trade and retail customers professionally
• Maintaining stock levels and keeping the yard clean and organised
• Following all health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (in-date)
• Previous experience within a builders merchants or similar environment preferred
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Friday
• Occasional Saturday mornings may be required
• Competitive hourly rate
