The Best Connection – Wolverhampton is currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver on behalf of our prestigious steel manufacturing client based in Wolverhampton.
Position Details:
Role: Counterbalance FLT Driver (Steel Experience Essential)
Hours: Monday to Friday – 07:00 to 16:15
Pay: £13.50 per hour, rising to £14.10 when taken on permanently
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading steel products
- Assisting with general yard and warehouse duties
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures on-site
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Counterbalance FLT license
- Previous experience handling steel (e.g., coils, bars, sheets, etc.)
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
- Willingness to work in a heavy-duty, industrial environment
