The Best Connection (Newcastle) are currently recruiting for a Baler and Counter Balance FLT Operative on behalf of a manufacturing company based in Prudhoe, Gateshead. 

Candidates must hold a valid Counter Balance licence.

The role:

• Operating Counter Balance FLT to help clear waste from production lines 
• Manual handling activities such as (but not limited to) pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying will be required
• Using a baler when required to condense cardboard waste ready for disposal  

The candidate:

• Valid and in date Counter Balance FLT licence (not in-house)
• Physically fit
• Able to work under own initiative or part of a team
• Flexible to work weekends as well as weekdays

Hours of work and pay:

• The client operates between Monday and Sunday
• 4 on / 4 off pattern
• 06:00am till 18:00pm or 18:00pm till 06:00am
• 2 days followed by 2 nights
• £13.60 per hour flat rate 
• 42 hours per week average
