The Best Connection (Newcastle) are currently recruiting for Counter Balance FLT Operatives to work on a continental night shift for a company based on the Team Valley, Gateshead.
The business is very strict in regard to hygiene as they deal with food produce. The site has a strict no smoking policy, so workers must not smoke during the full 12 hour shift.
The role:
- Operating Counter Balance FLT to perform standard warehouse tasks
- Loading and unloading vehicles, picking stock and general house keeping
- Manual handling activities such as (but not limited to) pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying will be required
- Navigating through small spaces and tight areas
- Abide to company Health and Safety policies
The candidate:
- Valid and in date Counter Balance FLT licence (not in-house)
- Must have FLT experience in a warehouse environment
- Physically fit as the role will involve manual handling
- Able to work under own initiative or part of a team
Hours of work and pay:
- Sun, Mon and Tues OR Wed, Thurs and Fri
- 6pm to 6am
- £12.50 per hour flat rate (increases to £13.65 per hour after successful completion of induction period)
- 36 hours per week
