Our client, a well-established warehousing and distribution business, is currently seeking an experienced FLT Driver to join their team on a full-time basis. As an FLT Driver, you will play a key role in the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring goods are moved, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating forklift trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move stock throughout the warehouse.
• Supporting goods-in and goods-out activities, ensuring accurate handling and documentation of products.
• Using warehouse management systems to update stock movements and inventory records.
• Conducting routine pre-use checks on FLT equipment and reporting any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Ensuring products are stored correctly and safely within designated warehouse locations.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties, including stock organisation and housekeeping.
• Working closely with colleagues to meet operational targets and customer requirements.
• Following all company health and safety procedures at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid FLT licence with previous experience operating forklift trucks, ideally Counterbalance.
• Experience working within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
• Good understanding of warehouse processes, stock control, and inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
• Basic IT and numerical skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and prolonged periods of standing.
• Mechanical awareness and the ability to identify and report equipment issues.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-focused approach.
