Our client, a timber merchant is looking to recruit an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver.

Responsibilities of the FLT driver

• Accurately and efficiently pick required orders according to pick notes issued.
• Accurately & efficiently load and unload vehicles & trailers as per the loading sheet and notes provided by the Transport dept.
• Store and put away all products in the designated warehouse locations as per the warehouse plans provided, handling the products carefully to ensure that we supply a quality undamaged product.
• Inspect the FLT you are operating on a daily basis and prior to first shift operations, reporting any safety related failures immediately to your shift Supervisor / Manager.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the area you are operating in and assist with the overall housekeeping of the site.

Requirements of the FLT driver 

• Attention to detail
• Basic Literacy and maths
• Good accuracy and organisational skills
• Ability to work to target
• Effective communication skills

The working hours are 0600 - 1400 Monday – Friday.
