The Best Connection are currently seeking Flight Packers for an In-flight Catering company in Crawley proving you with a chance to connect with the skies
Position -Flight Packer
Location - Crawley
Shifts - 4 on 2 off
Hours - Two earlies 0600-1430 and two lates 1330-2200
Pay - 12.32 hr
Duties of the Flight Packer:
- To check all products prior to packing.
- To ensure all airline products are packed / loaded to specification.
- Pack carts to the required standard and in accordance with passenger numbers.
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained to the required levels.
- Stock is rotated to get maximum shelf life.
- Compliance to HMRC regulations.
- Record, report breakages i.e., china, glass.
- Carry out final search and screening function.
- Regularly lifting weights between 12-15kg, includes (repetitive overhead lifting).
- Adhere to inflight services security compliance.
- Adhere to clean as you go standard.
- Any other duties as requested by your manager.
- Adhere to Unit safety measures in place.
- Adhere to clean as you go standard.
- Interact with, colleagues, customers and clients in a professional manner at all times.
- Comply with all unit Corporate, Social, Responsibility initiatives.

Requirements for applying for the role with The Best Connection
- Good level of written and verbal English
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently once fully familiarised with the role
- Will need to sit and pass their GSAT (General Security and Awareness Training)
As you will be partially working at Gatwick Airport you would need to undergo the following:
- Apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!)
- Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us!)
- Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc)
- Provide a full 5-year address history - Attend an Aviation Security Course (Paid for by us!)
