Aviation Connection are are looking for Flight Handlers to join our client Newrest, based in Manor Royal.
LOCATION: Crawley.
SALARY: £15.21 per hour
SHIFTS: 5 on 3 off starting time between 3am and 10am ( flexibility is required) The length of the shift is normally 9.5 hours with 30 minutes lunch break.
Average 40 hours per week
BENEFITS: Parking on site, meals provided whilst on duty, full uniform and PPE provided.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Plan and coordinate daily workloads to meet deadlines.
- Assemble in-flight meals and products according to client specifications.
- Seal storage trolleys for dispatch.
- Deliver items to aircraft and confirm catering with crew.
- Ensure cabins are dressed as per client specifications.
- Ensure airline packing standards are met (training provided).
- Load catering supplies onto delivery trucks and aircraft.
- Communicate effectively to minimize delays and resolve issues.
- Multitask and work under pressure.
- Lift and/or push approximately 50lbs.
- Assist with other departmental duties as needed.
- Adhere to safety measures, security compliance, and cleanliness standards.
- Interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
- Comply with corporate responsibility and QHSE policies.
- Report accidents, hazards, and near misses.
- Stay updated on new policies, processes, and practices.
- Perform any other duties as requested by management.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Minimum 1 years’ airline industry, experience (desirable).
- UK valid Driving Licence
- Right to Work in the UK
- Five year fully checkable reference history •
- Ability to pass Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
