Job Title: Facilities Support Assistant (Mitie)
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Duration: 12 weeks
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Overview:
Provide day‑to‑day facilities support across the Aviva site, helping ensure the building runs smoothly and workplace standards are maintained.
Key Duties:
- Support delivery of all facilities services (cleaning, meeting rooms, waste, post)
- Set up meeting rooms to client requirements
- Carry out reactive tasks and resolve day‑to‑day issues
- Maintain clean, safe, and organised workspaces
- Report and log issues via helpdesk
- Assist staff and visitors with queries
- Follow health & safety procedures at all times
- Carry out basic maintenance checks and report hazards
- Support contractors and planned maintenance (PPM)
- Help with deliveries, stock control, and logistics
- Assist with events setup and clear down
- Maintain site records and asset register
Requirements:
- Previous facilities or cleaning experience preferred
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health & safety

- Role is within a secure site (DBS required)
- Must follow Mitie compliance and procedures
