Our client based in Rugby requires an experienced Electro Mechanical Fitter to join their team. The ideal candidate should have good understanding of electronics with a minimum of 3 years’ experience of assembly wiring and testing a wide range of electrical components and working quickly and accurately is essential.

• Monday to Friday, NO weekends
• 08:30-17:30 Mon-Thu, 08:30-13:00 Fri
• £26,000 per annum 
• Temporary to permanent position

Key job responsibilities:

• To work from electrical engineering drawings is crucial and an understanding of mechanical drawings would be advantageous. Plus, build to sample.
• Cabinet wiring; cable assembly; power supply unit construction; wiring looms
• Identify, test & fault finding in electrical installation and equipment.
• Neat and accurate crimping and soldering of wires.
• Mechanical duties: cutting, drilling, and tapping.

• Use industry equipment correctly and safely during the build process.
• Must be methodical and accurate.
• Work independently as well as part of a team.
