The Best Connection are seeking a motivated and experienced multiskilled electrician to join a team in Burnley. This full-time role requires a self-motivated individual who can effectively communicate with both the site management team and clients to perform repairs and maintenance across the site.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
• Friday: 7:30am - 1:30pm

Pay: £19.12 ph

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan, inspect, and carry out repairs or preventative maintenance as needed, responding promptly to breakdowns.
• Perform building fabric repairs, small plumbing, joinery, and electrical works.
• Assist the full maintenance team with various facilities tasks.
• Ensure all work complies with agreed specifications and Health & Safety legislation.
• Provide quotations for recommended works to the site manager.
• Reflect the safety image positively through your actions.
• Ensure a safe system of work is followed before starting any work activity.
• Maintain plant and equipment to ensure they are fit for purpose.
• Assist the site manager and clients' facilities team in maintaining the highest site standards, completing all electrical works, and providing general handyman services, including L8.
• Liaise with subcontractors, cleaners, and security to ensure effective site facilities management.

Criteria:

• 18th Edition Electrical Qualification
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Good communication and IT literacy skills
• Strong understanding of health and safety
• IPAF preferred
• UK Driving License preferred
