Electronic Assembler

Location: Sheffield

Pay: 12.50 p/h

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between 07:00 and 17:00

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client is a rapidly growing logistics company based in Sheffield, currently recruiting for an Electronic Assembler. This is a permanent role after successfully completing a 12-week probation period. Join a company that values and develops its employees, offering full training and a range of benefits.

Daily Duties Include:

• Modifying new machines, including fitting ozone injection systems, changing electrical phasing, fitting soap injection, converting to coin-op card reader machines, fitting SAFE systems, and re-branding machines.
• Reprogramming onboard computers with a tablet.
• Refurbishing used machines.
• Picking required parts.
• Performing other daily workshop duties.

Training and Skills:

• Full training on maintenance and repair of all products will be provided.
• Knowledge of using tools and problem-solving abilities is essential.

Ideal Candidate: 

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Ideally from a white goods environment, but other similar backgrounds will be considered.
• Technical problem solver able to fix both mechanical and electrical issues.
• FLT licence would be advantageous but not necessary.
