Egg Farm Picker - 5-7 Days a Week (7am-1pm)

Location: LA6 - 4 miles from Carnforth, 8 miles from Lancaster

Pay: £12.21 per hour (increasing to £12.71)

Are you looking for an active, hands‑on role working with animals? We are currently recruiting an Egg Farm Picker to join a busy farm team in the LA6 area. This is a great opportunity for someone reliable, physically fit, and confident working with live poultry.

Working Hours

• 7:00am - 1:00pm
• Flexibility on working days
• Ideally available 5, 6 or 7 days per week
• Reliability is essential, as the chickens require daily care

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting eggs throughout the farm
• Handling and working closely with live chickens
• Cleaning coops, sheds, and general farm areas
• Feeding and watering livestock
• Maintaining clean and safe working environments
• Assisting with wider farm duties as needed

About You

This role would suit someone who:

• Is physically fit and comfortable with an active, hands‑on role
• Is confident working with animals, especially chickens
• Is reliable, committed, and able to work early shifts
• Enjoys routine and practical farm tasks
• Is happy working in all conditions and isn't afraid to get stuck in
