The Best Connection Eastbourne is currently recruiting for experienced Dumper & Shovel Drivers to join a well-established client in the Newhaven area. If you're looking for regular work, weekly pay, and the opportunity to work with a reputable company, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

• Operating a loading shovel safely and efficiently.
• Operating a dumper on site.
• Loading, transporting and tipping materials.
• Moving materials around site as required.
• Carrying out daily vehicle and machinery checks.
• Reporting any defects or safety concerns.
• Following all site health & safety procedures.
• Assisting with general site duties when required.

(Please note: your role may not be limited to these tasks)

What you'll need & what you'll get

Requirements:

• Valid Dumper ticket (CPCS, NPORS or equivalent).
• Valid Loading Shovel ticket (CPCS, NPORS or equivalent).
• Previous experience operating dumpers and loading shovels.
• Good understanding of site health & safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous experience working on a busy site environment.
