Dumper & Shovel Drivers Wanted

Location: Newhaven

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Dumper & Shovel Driver to work with a well-established client in the Newhaven area.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

• Operating a loading shovel safely and efficiently
• Operating a dumper on site
• Loading, transporting and tipping materials
• Moving materials around site
• Carrying out daily vehicle and machinery checks
• Reporting any defects or safety concerns
• Following all site health & safety procedures
• Assisting with general site duties when required

Requirements

• Valid Dumper ticket - CPCS, NPORS or equivalent
• Valid Loading Shovel ticket - CPCS, NPORS or equivalent
• Previous experience operating dumpers and loading shovels
• Good understanding of site health & safety
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
• Good communication skills
• Previous experience working on a busy site
