The Best Connection Newcastle are seeking to recruit ad hoc Driver's Mates to work for their client in North Shields, .The client is a Furniture wholesale distributor and supply local councils and residents.

The role:

• Loading and unloading products from the vehicle
• Assisting the Driver with directions
• Ringing customers to advise of ETA 
• This role will involve heavy manual lifting

The candidate:

• Previous Drivers Mate experience would be advantageous 
• Must be physically fit and comfortable with heavy repetitive lifting 
• Flexible to work weekends as well as weekdays 

Shift pattern:

• Ad hoc shifts - the shifts will vary week to week
• Candidates are expected to be able to work weekends
• Start times of 8am

Pay Rates:

• £11.44 rising to £12.21 per hour flat rate
