Job Overview:

We are currently recruiting for a Driver Mate / Porter to support a busy delivery operation based in Bellshill. This hands-on role involves assisting with deliveries, calling customers ahead of arrival, and ensuring all items are accurately scanned and accounted for.

Key Responsibilities:

• 🚚 Assist with Deliveries - Help the driver load and unload goods at customer locations
• 📞 Customer Calls - Contact customers prior to delivery to confirm someone will be in
• 📲 Use of Scanner - Scan all items to ensure orders are complete and correctly delivered
• 🧾 Accuracy Checks - Ensure all delivery items are accounted for and matched to the manifest
• 🤝 Customer Service - Provide a polite and professional service at every drop
• 🧹 Keep Vehicle Tidy - Assist with keeping the van clean and organized throughout the shift

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a driver mate, warehouse, or delivery role (preferred but not essential)
• Good communication skills and confident speaking to customers
• Basic understanding of using handheld scanners or mobile devices
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work long shifts (8-12 hours)
• Available to work weekdays and weekends as needed
