Location: Hartlepool

Pay: £13.75 per hour

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: Start 04:00am | Finish 14:00-16:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Drivers Mate to support a refuse collection team. This is a physically active role working outdoors, assisting the driver with daily collections.

The Role

• Assisting with loading and emptying bins on a refuse collection vehicle (RCV)
• Supporting the driver throughout daily routes
• Ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
• Own transport is preferred due to location and early start times, but not essential
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable and able to work early morning shifts
