Role: General Operative, Dishwash Area 

The Best Connection are working in partnership with Newrest, who are looking for multiple General Operatives to work in the Dishwash Department to help them in their busy operation.

Shift: 4 on 2 off 
Hours: Two earlies 0600-1430 and two lates 1330-2200 
Pay: £12.21ph 

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS

Your duties will be:

• Dispose of waste in the designated bins.
• Load catering equipment into the machine following training.
• Ensure the wash machine runs at the correct temperature and doses chemicals properly.
• Check equipment for damage and cleanliness after washing; record and report any breakages.
• Meet supplier equipment requirements.
• Clean airline equipment as per customer standards.
• Follow the “clean as you go” policy.
• Conduct final search and screening.
• Comply with inflight service security and unit safety measures.
• Maintain professional interactions with colleagues, customers, and clients.
• Support Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
• Follow QHSE policies and Newrest Non-negotiables at all times.
• Report accidents, hazards, and near misses promptly.
• Stay updated and comply with all policy and procedure changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.

Requirements for Dishwash:

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in catering (desirable).
• The ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Excellent communication, team work and customer service skills.
• Good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken.
