Despatch Operative

Hours: Monday to Thursday 14:00-18:00

Friday 13:00-15:00

Pay Rate: £12.84 per hour

The Best Connection is recruiting a Despatch Operative to join a busy growing manufacturer in the Telford area. This is a hands-on role supporting the movement of finaslised products ensuring orders are prepared safely, correctly and efficiently

Role Overview:

• Organising, labelling and sorting electronic goods ready for despatch
• despatch goods in correct orders and quantities
• Checking products for damage and reporting any issues to the relevant supervisor
• Ensuring the despatch and loading areas remain clean, tidy, and safe at all times
• Working closely with the despatch and production teams to meet daily deadlines

Candidate Profile:

• Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and safety awareness
• Previous warehouse experience is essential
