Despatch Loader / Warehouse Operative

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

The Best Connection is recruiting a Despatch Loader to join a busy and well organised manufacturing and warehouse operation. This is a hands-on role supporting the movement of products in and out of the warehouse, ensuring orders are prepared safely and efficiently for delivery.

Role Overview:

• Loading company vehicles in preparation for daily despatch routes
• Unloading incoming deliveries from suppliers and allocating stock correctly
• Checking products for damage and reporting any issues to the relevant supervisor
• Sorting and positioning frames within the warehouse using designated storage locations
• Ensuring the despatch and loading areas remain clean, tidy, and safe at all times
• Working closely with the despatch and warehouse teams to meet daily deadlines

Candidate Profile:

• Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Holds a valid UK driving licence
• Good attention to detail and safety awareness
• Previous warehouse or loading experience is beneficial but not essential
