The Best Connection Mansfield are currently seeking a Deputy Line Leader for our client based in Kirkby in Ashfield!

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and supervise up to 30 production operators to maintain productivity and quality.
• Ensure production activities align with the production plan, procedures, and standards.
• Promote a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety rules and housekeeping standards.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, internal procedures, and work instructions.
• Minimum Requirements
• Ability to instruct and support team members across all responsibilities.
• Strong conflict resolution and leadership skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience using SAP or similar production systems would be an advantage.
• Exposure to continuous improvement or lean manufacturing environments.
• Supervisory experience within chemical, adhesives, or related manufacturing industries.

Pay rate is dependent on line leading experience as this is a cover position you will be working on the production line mostly.

Working hours - Monday to Friday; 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm (rotating weekly)
